What I was thinking.
L4D is a good game for shorter sessions. You can pop in and out of games easily, where each chapter takes about an hour. Max.

With fallout 3 you need to spead hours getting in the game and you can get lost of what to do at times.
left 4 dead is a great game to kill a hour or two and easy to get a online game going with Hamachi.
so my vote goes to Left 4 dead.

I came from the original ones where you know, it was actually challenging.
3 you basically NEVER run out of ammo, it's impossible unless I stare at a wall firing off rounds. Use VATS, run away let it recharge, VATS again with them not attacking back, talk about broken.
anywho, to not turn this into a debate im done with that:

BTW, if you do happen to choose L4D, make sure you do so with the knowing you'll have 3-4 people to play with that you know at all times, playing with random people on the pub server will destroy your opinion of the game.
We have an nforce group on steam and a lot of us play it regularly.
Tainted4ever, Vodka Redbull started, Immunity (retired cause of the lack of maps), Surray, Sueil, Epsilon, Me ( I play everynight almost), Krazy kamel, Glottis, streetunder, evil monkey to name the funner ones ot play with. |

Well, according to the Videogames Awards 2008, Fallout 3 is the best rpg and I totally agree. Im captivated by it.

I think Fallout 3 is pure garbage just as Oblivion was. Doesn't deserve to be called Fallout, should have been an expansion called Oblivion Wastelands or something similar. L4D FTW.

Sure, it wasnt like the old Fallout games...but dude, you gotta admit, its pure fuckin fun.
Least the way I play. When I start a new game and reach 16, i put on God Mode. Do the shit in the vault and the moment im outta the vault I up my char to 20 and give him the most important skill so he's like uber and at level 20 or 19 you get that explorer perk that always all locations to be shown on map.
Im barely along in the main quest, but Ive been exploring the world for like 40 hours I think.Best game ive played in years and will probably play atleast another 2 times.

Tho, Left 4 Dead is also incredibly fuckin fun when I wann sit back and just fill up zombies with lead. Awesome game still |

But considering Fallout 3 won a ton of awards for Fallout 3...well, that says it in it all. And it is a quality game.
For numerous, numerous reason, not just the hude world. I was using that as an example.
But still, L4D was incredibly fun and I still play it.
Just because someone enjoys a game you happen not to like, doesnt make them inferior or not know good games or whatever....shit man, ppl have different tasts.
I dont get why your so judgemental.
And Im not attacking/flaming you. So please dont respond with "fuck you, you dont know shit about games' etc

I play it in God Mod cause its relaxing. I dont have the time in my life to spend hours on perfecting my char and shit. So i perfect him from the get go and Fallout 3 is my relaxing game. I can explore everywhere with worrying about stmpacks and shit.
Its relaxing.
Of course I dont play all games with cheats. That would be stupid. But sometimes I just like to sit down and play a game where its totally relaxing cuz I dont have to try (aside from the puzzles and such thing).
Its my preference, no need to look down your nose at it.
People have difference tastes. Lately, ive had very lil gaming time and I dont wan to get into a serious game when Im tired and shit. Just sit back, play F3 for 2 hours and thats it.
Its relaxing and fun. I enjoy it. U may not, but that doesnt mean that others dont. Everyone has their own tastes.
Like I said, stop being so judgemental. You dont need to provoke ppl to look big man.
And again, Im not attacking you, just pointing out something obvioud and Im not the only one who thinks so man ya know? Tone it down a bit bud.

problem with fallout3 and gta4 and other open ass games... too much to do.  it's all awesome and all but it gets fucken boring going from a to c then to b then to d then back to c then back to a then to g and you remembered about e and f, you visit them as well and then go back to a.
Open ass games are fun, but incredibly boring. A kid in a 99c candy store and he's got a dollar.  The choices, the wonders, the oogly googly eyes. awesomeness. but ffs, you can only enjoy one thing.

I don't understand what you're saying but I'm not being judgmental just expressing an opinion. You can say I have pretty high standards/am critical of games but I wouldn't expect anything less from those of you who've been playing games for the past decade and a half. Nor am I provoking anyone, the game won awards just as Oblivion did for various reasons but if you are a hardcore RPG fan neither game do anything to satisfy.
I don't see how my opinion is an attempt to look big. I dislike the game and the developer for it's half ass'ed efforts, that's that. Had nothing to do with whether or not you enjoy it, my thoughts are independent from yours or anyone elses. More like you defending a game you enjoy so re-evaluate your original response.

Its just dude (and Im not being mean or anything of the sort) you come across as...a know it all/arrogant/my opinion is the only right one.
And I consider myself a 'hardcore' gamer.
Ive been playing games since....what was it called before atari....amiga?
And Im critical of games to but F3 just...i dunno, its fun as hell to me. Its a nice relaxing game with a story line and I can play it with sound off and watch tv at the same time.
Anyway, all Im saying is you come across in a condecsending way man. I dont think you mean to, but thats how it comes across. (Again, im not judging you or taking a shot at you man).
But Ive gotten used to the way...you express your opinions so its all good.
