I have t220 and it is an amazing monitor. I can only compare it to my old (but still very good HP 19"), and the colors are vibrant, no ghosting, good refresh rate right out of the box, i didnt even mess with any settings. The picture is crystal clear in games or watching HD movies. So i very much recommend it, it is more expensive than other monitors but i think its well worth it. Btw I have 8800 GT and all games run good on 1650 x 1050 even GTA IV.

Anything samsung will be more than satisfactory. Personally I can't shop for LCD's online or by reviews. I like to see them in person, but when comparing them to all the other LCD's on display, samsung always has the most vibrant colors.

Yeah they run perfectly. Crysis Warhead runs on high/very high mixture with 2x AA on full resolution with above 30 fps most of the time. GTA IV also runs good with edited exe so that i could use high texture quality. COD 4 and WaW run everything on max including AA and filtering.
And i seriously havent noticed backlight bleeding, even on start up, it might be there but i never looked for it and thats good enough for me. Games look crisp, especially HL2 games like css and others, its like they look completely different from my previous monitor which was also very high quality but 5:4. Black and white contrast is incredible, where before i had trouble with seeing stuff when the brightness was low, i had to turn it way up to the point where it became very washed up looking, no such troubles on t220, even when i turn up the brightness colors dont looked washed up, they just look brighter.
Also t220 is very elegant looking monitor, with the buttons hidden, and the powerup button is integrated into the design, if there was no picture of the power icon you would never know that its the power button.
I think samsung is quality, so you cant go wrong with any of their products, i was also looking at 2232BW before seeing that local costco had t220 for $250, so i went for it and never looked back. I see monitor as a long time investment so I didnt want to save 30 dollars just to regret it later.

I have 5 LCD's in the house from various companies ranging from HP, Dell, and viewsonic. Nothing comes close to how good my Samsung looks. Everyone that comes in my office for the first time and sees the display in action comments on how clear and vibrant it is. i do digital photo retouching for a living along with digital art and have to rely on great color sharpness and reproduction. I haven't been sorry with this Samsung. It plays games great as well.
I own the 24 inch model by the way.

thanks, seems nice enough but for my taste 1920x1200 is a bit overkill (for games not for some lines of work)
