Just been checking some new or sort a new products (headsets with mic!).

1-Sennheiser PC 350

LINK

2-Razer Megalodon

LINK

3-Razer Barracuda (oldish)

LINK

4-Astro A40 (Nicest design...only my opinion)

LINK

Bluetooth/Wireless

5-Creative Digital Wireless Gaming Headset HS-1200

LINK

6-Logitech ClearChat PC Wireless

LINK

There are more out there no doubt, so if you have a kick ass GAMING headset that you think everyone should have, please post here.

Personally I am really interested in the Razer Megalodon and the Astro A40 (have Razor Barracuda's at the mo)

I wouldn't buy anything creative anymore, not the way their service as been going especially with their sound cards.

I'm actually looking to buy some headphones. The Razer one looks amazing but no way would I pay 150 bucks for a pair. That's just nuts.

Btw. The mic I have for my computer is a one piece headset, an ear piece and mic. Is there any 2.5mm femail to male usb adapters anyone knows of?

BTW, on newegg I was looking for a set and these have the best rating of all headsets available:

Does the barracuda need any special ports from the sound card from razer or is it come witn 3.5mm or usb's to work?

You can use it with their AC-1 sound card (special connector included) or just use the plugs (dongle with 3.5+USB power) as shown here

I can only say that this headset is pure quality, not only the sound but the actual build of the headset.
One really good feature is the plug in mic, U don't need it plug it out, and when U do, simply plug it in...brilliant!.

ugh, sennheiser, they don't fit right to my ears....

go to a store, listen if they sound right, feel if they fit right.

that's all there is to it.

The Sennheiser HD 595 is a classic for sure, but it don't have a mic, that is something I need, don't like to have a table mic.

Does anyone know if one can buy the "Astro A40" headset in the EU anywhere? I just love that design!!!!!, same company that designed the original Alienware case (not the crap they do now) and the Xbox360.

Been searching all over the net, but can't find any retailer in Germany or anywhere else. I guess I could order directly from the states, but takes time and I don't like to order stuff like this overseas due to warranty or if the stuff is broken on delivery etc...it does happen you know .

EDIT: Wrote Astro a mail and simply asked. I guess I will have to order it directly from the states after all. Not sure yet, as I would like to check out the new Megalodons from Razor 1st. As far as I know they are not out yet, but should hit the stores any day now...cause its fracking Xmas time .
