My current cheap optical mouse goes crazy when I use it without a pad, cursor starts to teleport across the screen randomly and so on. So I need a mouse that works well just on the table. I hate pads for many reasons. My table is so smooth, better than any mouse pad I tried, also it's bigger than any mouse pad, so mouse is never off of it. A mouse must also have a cord. So any recommendations matching my criteria? Smile

All my mice from Razor worked flawlessly without a mousepad. I can recommend Deathadder or Lachesis

it all depends on the surface
optical mice work by taking up-close photographs of the table - if it's all smooth, it can't tell if it's moved.. if it's very shiny, it gets blinded
you can try a laser based mouse if it works better but really, look into a better surface
i have a laser mouse on a wooden table with a plain matte surface where the wood pattern is clear
best mouse surface i've had

Well I tried to go not very expensive (but also not very cheap) and got Logitech MX400. I don't like it at all. Cursor isn't teleporting like with my old optical shit mouse, but this MX400 just doesn't feel right. It feels very loose, no precision. I tried playing around with various settings in controls panel of this mouse software, same shit. Now I'm thinking of getting Razer Banshee. I always tell others that cheap person pays twice now I got fucked myself.

And quickly you realised how much more of a pro you became with my mousepad!

8 out of 10 dentists prefer zipfero to competing brands(fraich3 and Mutantius)!

I just got Razer Lachesis. Oh boy it's an amazing mouse. Tracking is incredible without any mousepad. It glides so smoothly on my desk, like no mouse I ever touched before. The only downside is that it's designed for both left and right hand, one hand design would be better. But maybe I just need to get used to it more. Smile

Time to sell that Logitech shite I got 2 days ago Twisted Evil

I believe the habu was designed with right hand only in mind. Was the mouse made by MS and Razer.

But ya, razer also has one of THEE best customer service ever. Last 3 years I've used the same mouse, replaced twice, only paid for the mouse 1 time when I first bought it.

Left mouse button died after it's warranty was up, told them abotu it, they had me send it back and they sent me another 1. For some reason that one had the left click die too after about 6 months, told them about it, they said hell with it and sent me another one for free without sending my current one in. That was about a year and a half ago now and still using that same mouse no problems.
