Hi folks,

so i installed KIS 2009 everything's fine. i've got a legit license and all.
every time i try to update the databases i get an error.
"a network failure occured during downloading updates" and, taking a look at the details, i see a different error "error connecting to update source" (with different servers each time) in the end it always gets cancelled with the first error message.
(Installed it on saturday and everything went fine - i even updated the databases on saturday without any problems)
i haven't installed any new apps, games or anything. since saturday i didn't do anything except surf and some work for my university.

any help's appreciated Smile

Legit license ? You should browse their forum and if you don't find a solution post there. Or hopefully it's server-related and the problem is on their side.

use the trial reset and then google for the 100 day free trial

btw. got my problem fixed, well, sort of. It appears they had a pretty weird problem with their DNS resolving - for some people the domains did work for some they did.
well, they fixed it by now.
and i am so going to buy KIS 2009 - it's god damn worth every cent.
