i'm tiredn of keeping shit from last year cause 9gig dvd's are expensive as hell , and not to mention not all of them work
i bought like 4 TDK Dl-dvd's for about 12 euros and none of them work on either drives (laptop with a nec and desktop with and lg) , and i've had it with tons of data in an image that's useless , english only than you good fucking bye , screw multilanguage.
so , any of you use software to convert these images from dvd9 to dvd5 ? if so , what software ? or how do you burn your dvd9 images ?

Why mess with burning. Too expensive in the long run, shitty backing up solution, takes too much time to keep track of things, it's too dangerous to have a bad write, or even the dvd failing due to scratches etc. They are also slow to burn and slow to read. Also, they are non-rewritable, so some of your stuff can become obsolete.
Fuck that, get an external hard disk, they're dirt cheap nowadays. Problem solved, another soul saved !

It takes a while depending on the drive. I've got 2 500's for storage ( I use my external to back up my internal) but that 500 games only, has about 150 something games on it. You can get a TB in the US now for 120 bucks.
but if your backing up hd movies...god...that shit EATS your HD's
