half life 2 looks better in some respect... the powerboat graphics in some areas are mindboggling

Have to agree, Half-Life 2 definately has better water, faces and facial animation, body animation (much more fluid and life like) less plasticy etc... But I can't argue that the environment (asides from water) is hot in this game Yes, I am this nerdy Stop by and say hello

Well, I have dug in those links and found things that are even more interesting like a Jurrasic Park mod for Farcry, and hmmmmm something that reminds me of Gran Turismo (a mod). [/img]

There's also HDR in this techdemo. ATI HDR. Open system.cfg in main folder, edit "r_hdr..." cvars. Play around with the settings to get the best visual result. Also, you can do this while the demo is playing: press tilde key, and change those r_hdr... cvars. Also, try spacebar. I would recommend r_hdrlevel 1. The demo looks fantastic w/ HDR. A64 3800+@2.80 GHz, Mushkin 2x1GB @ 233MHz, Abit AN8 SLI 2 x BFG 7800gtx, Mitsu DP 2070SB 22", Dell 2405FPW 24" Audigy 2 ZS 2 x WD Raptor 74 GB Raid0, 40GB, 120GB HDDs, Plextor PX-716UF, 24x CDRW, DVD 12x PCP&C 510W, Antec 430W

i enable hdr to with patch 1.3 !!!
