All right I've had some issues lately with burning 360-games, I've produced ten coasters now during the last two weeks, compared to a total of two or three coasters per 100~ successful burns prior to that.

I've gone from CloneCD to ImgBurn and even though the very first burn was a success and i thought it was down to CloneCD it turned out I was wrong since I've had one coaster from burning GOW2 and now today an additional coaster from burning FIFA09.

So I just thought I'd buy a new DVD-burner for my movies-computer, mostly due to the issues with the burning but also because that computer has a 2x DVD-rom which is like ten years old.

So I thought this way I'd eliminate most factors seeing how I will use a different burner and a different OS (XP SP3 instead of Vista SP1). If I keep getting coasters I can at least be certain that it's the Verb's that are bad and since a burner costs next to nothing and I do need one for my movies-computer I might as well go for it.

So my question is, any specific recommendations when it comes to burners?

I usually use a site called Komplett.se for my hardware shopping, so take a peek at http://www.komplett.se/k/kl.aspx?bn=10034

If they have anything good there, that'd be my first choice of reseller.

I agree. I have a Pioneer 215D Sata. I can't fault it. I've only had one bad burn and that was down to a faulty disk. The disk had a clear fault, like a wavey line through it.

Great burner in a range of colours to fit your feminine side Javlar.

I know, the 212 are on it's way to be discontinued, so why not go with the latest model.
  Watercooled 5950X | AORUS Master X570 | Asus RTX 3090 TUF Gaming OC | 64Gb RAM | 1Tb 970 Evo Plus + 2Tb 660p | etc etc

If you need to clone DVD then you need Alcohol 120%, Clone CD is long time goner. Be sure that burner you buy supports SD 2.5 or later. If not then you won't be able to burn clones. I don't care much because I use regular DVDs with cracks for PC.
