The first one was brilliant.
The second was quite good.
The third was quite poor.
The fourth was pure shite and just a complete rip-off.
The fifth will probably be slightly better than the fourth but still worse than the third.

Tobin Bell rocks, by the way.

The first one was great ! A bit gore (for that time) with a great idea and ending.

But the rest of them is uber crap to be honest. I'd only watched them just to too see how twisted traps its gonna be this time and just for the endings Smile cuz they we're a bit mind blowing.

sure the sequels weren't as good as the first but I liked them all so far
I didn't feel bored in movie or anything , it's still entertaining and not painful to watch and that's what counts

Definitely the first part was groundshaking and the rest are bullshit ripoffs. However, i love Tobin Bell in the movie and his characters "lessons" for sinners. However too bad holllyshitwood made Saw 2 and sequels crap. They could be as dark and gloomy as the first one with its morals and Bell of course.

the first was fucking shit.. it was good for the first 20 mins or so then they started dropping blatent hints and spoon feeding, and it was trying SO hard to be original and 'shocking' Rolling Eyes

Horror movies really died a death in the last 4-5 years..

cant wait for something decent and fresh to come along.

For some reason I actually enjoyed all of these movies, and look forward to the 5th.

One of the things I love best about a story over many movies is when it interacts with another in the series somehow... and all of the Saw movies do that by the mountain full.

Agree.
First one was great, from there they've just gone worse and worse though. I still really like them, and it's not for the gore. Tobin Bell have done a very good job portraying Jigsaw, especially in the second one.
