Awesome, just read that Chris posted some shots but I had no ideas they had released it. Steam feels kinda overloaded at the moment, so the login screen stod there for minutes. So what servers are you guys playing on?

Maps are too small, but since there is a mapping contest with 5000$ price we can expect better maps soon (and full sdk is released)

I played it earlier and its really amusing and works quite well on a highly pinged server. I didn't really notice a lag that interfeer with playablility.

When you pick a server just pick one that has the lowest lag, i haven't noticed any lag at all (and i usually do as a CS addict )
yeah, post servers you play on  twould be fun playing with nforcers!
also people need to shut the f u c k up about valve, don't complain when they deliver a feature fans asked for, completely free, and are now offering MONEY, which they don't have to do, for the best maps made... And don't give me the bullshit arguement that they should have included it when it came out, assholes like you were bitching at them back then because it was taking too long, so they let you have the single player right away and then got the DM onto steam... But yeah, they're greedy assholes.... morons.

i would hardly call it offering them money. some pro mappers spend 150+ hours on a single map (kreedz and soulfather to name 2) and in order for them to win they have to use only HL2.wad textures and sign over all ownership of it. in otherwords they're getting the best from around the world to make a map to be played by millions for a few thousand $'s, but if made by a valve guy would take a lot longer in man hours and labour. |
