im searching a new mouse, for the upcoming X3 Terran conflict and photoshop works...

I have looked reviews of razer lachesis(there are some ergonomics controversy), razer copperhead and logitech G5 but im looking for first hand opinions... any to recommend?

diamond back is their lowest model, I'd personally go for something higher, not saying it's bad though... I currently have been using the diamond back for over 3 years now.

My only beef with razer though, I wish they'd knock it off with the fucking LED's and make something that doesn't light up my room.

That an ugly, ugly mouse...

I'd go with this:
http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/gaming/productdetails.aspx?pid=100

I'm considering this one as my next mouse, when my G7 finally gives in.

pff... I'll stick to my logitech mx518.
it's cheap nowadays and a great gaming mouse with 5 buttons.

you don't need mouse weights and laser instead of infrared to be better at games or more efficient in photoshop, so why pay a premium for shit like that?

If you don't need a gaming mouse, the Logitech MX Revolution is really amazing. It's a shame they don't make the gaming mice so nice!

$90 ... ouch Wink

OK so it turns out I'm a moron. Even though this mouse used to work FINE using the native windows XP drivers all I needed to do was install the intellipoint drivers and it works. It doesn't seem to charge using the supplied dock, but I have another charger that worked.

That one seems to have only one button for the thumb tho, I've grown used to having last page / next page assigned to two thumb buttons for web browsing.

This one an older model then?

That two button version looks decent enough, is there a plain version too without the lightning?
