Well, this show looks interesting enough.
Debuts with a 2 hour season premier on Friday at 9pm EST. Its on TMN (for Canadians) and the Sci Fi chan for Americans. Dunno if the europeans are gunna get it the same day we do. I guess if you want, you can find out on the net somewhere.

So far I haven't seen a Sci-Fi channel show that I didn't find incredibly cheesy. Maybe I'll check out the pilot for this one.
8 out of 10 dentists prefer zipfero to competing brands(fraich3 and Mutantius)!

check out the 8 web episodes that are essentially pilots. I dunno wear to find them, but they are free for all.
The show is a 100% upgrade in terms of cast and graphics and such. I dunno, it could be a flop, but I plan on watching atleast 5 eps before i form an opinion.
And of course you cant expect top notch acting, but from what ive seen, the acting isnt that bad and quite watchable.
And still, i dont mind the occasional cheesy show. I watch the new Flash Gordon and i like it. Sure, shit graphics and the acting isnt top notch, but still, its interesting and fun to watch.
I do prefer realistic, good acting sci fi movies/tv shows. but I still enjoy the somewhat chessy ones. And I think Sanctuary is on the high end of the cheesy sci fi list you know?
Anyway, check out the first few eps of this when it debuts on friday. |

their are on the Vuze p2p movie network thats has free movies , music clips and other stuff , you can access it after you install Azureus P2P client

I never said I liked this. I havent even watched the first ep yet. I was just saying its a new sci fi show and it might be good.
And atlantis is good so you can fuck yourself 
And no I dont like Xena or Kevin Sorbo....
As for Torchwood...god no. Aside from the shitty animation and acting, they tend to have all the guys making out in every episode and all the women hooking up with each other.
Not my taste.
Torchwood wont last tho, it'll be gone next year |

Well, just watched the first ep of Sancturary and it isnt all that bad. Its not top of line or anything but the acting isnt half bad (aside from a few characters) the show itself seems interesting enough. I dunno if i like it yet tho. Gunna watch a few more eps and see what direction they take the show in. if it gets hoaky, i'll stop watching it. but if its atleast as good as the premier ep, i'll watch it.
Its on here on Mondays at 6pm...nothing else on at that time anyway.
What else is there on tv to watch? I watch the news during the day and before bed, stargate, star trek and frasier reruns and quantum leap reruns on tuesdays...all those crime shows are too fuckin cheesy for me...they are meant to be realistic but they arent. atleast what i watch isnt meant to be real so if it comes across as a little outrageous, its acceptable.
But take CSI. They find a microfiber of a glove bought at walmar on dog who happened to be on the same street as a hooker who knows a guy who's been convicted of robbery who shared a jail cell 20 years ago with some guy who has gloves from walmart. so they bring the guy in and they have all these elaborate (but not even close to real) visual displays of shit and he breaks down and confesses....to me, those are the shows that are shitty and need to go. Real forensic science is nothing like that portrayed by such shows you know?

Before this show officially aired with 2 episode (on scifi) they have made 8 web episodes. Is it necessary to watch these 8 before starting the regular show?

In fact the new episode 1 & 2 have almost the same story as webepisode 1 t/m 8.
So no need to watch the webepisodes before the normal episodes

This wasnt too bad. The CGI seemed a bit ropey and I quite like the characters but Im gonna stick with it.

thats what im saying. its not great, but its not bad at all. the one blonde chick (tappings daughter i think), she annoys me but the rest of the characters arent too bad. |

i have to agree, ep 3 was dull and boring. But still, most series suck until they actually get into them and establish bad guys and a fight against a certain group or ppl ya know?
So I think Im gunna watch the whole season. If Im not satisified at the end of season 1, i wont watch season 2 (if it even gets picked up)

yup ep 3 was crap, turned it into a sort of 'buffy the vampire slayer and her mum' show.. ep 1 and 2 showed a bit of potential, ep 3 went pretty much downhill from there...

well, you have to consider they are trying to appeal to a wider range of ppl. not just diehard sci fi fans like most of us are
i wish they would make a "pure" sci fi movie. one that is only directed towards sci fi fans. |

yeah but that will never happen , you know ratings are a bitch (specially for TVs) and in this day and age most people don't watch the tube anymore , they suck the whole season from the internet and watch it when they would like to watch it without any commercial brakes ...
