Those screenshots look like shit compared to the recent video's and other screenshots i've seen. Are they playing it on lowest settings or something?

I'll just laugh just like when Generals/Zero Hour was released and how EA totally bastardized the faithful community utterly screwing us all who bought it. Now BfmE comes out and you all forget these are the same a*holes who will likely do it again to you all ALL OVER AGAIN! Lest we forget: while BfmE looks like a superb RTS so did Generals and Zero Hour and they f*ed it up bad with the worse post-support and attitude in the biz. Just keep that in mind so as to not set expectations.

I guess that you're one of those guys who just hate EA because it is EA. I know that Generals did not have great optimalization or some superb storyline, but I really liked that game and I still play it from time to time. Either way I think and hope that BfmE will be a great game (and as Malic posted earlier, it got 86% in german Gamestar, which is a very good note) so maybe they did not screw everything that bad as you presume. |

you ever tried playing generals in 5 player lan???
impossible. game fucks up in a few minutes.
4player works....
the post support on generlas was.... well... there hasnt been any...
there was 1 patch for zero hour but thats it...
hopefully this 1 will have better support/patches/addons as generals had...

Well I haven't tried 5 player lan, 4 was enough for me, and I generally play single player cause I don't have time for multi. And I'm not saying that support for Generals was great or even good, but I'm tired of people who flame EA just as if they have never released a single good game, and all their games were totally fucked up and unplayable. Have some faith people 
Oh, and by the way, there were 7 patches for Generals and 2 for Zero Hour. |

I've noticed they always dumb down graphics before release, but something ain't right about them screens.

Couldn't have said it better myself! Generals may have had 7 Patches and Zero Hour had 2 but guess what: NOT MUCH OF CONSEQUENCE was actually achieved in those patches! The community asked in unison for certain bug and enhancement fixes and got zilch! I still have a 4 page list of things Zero Hour needs addressing and its a hideously f*ed up game not to mention the NAT problem with DirectConnect is screwy! <sigh>
Nevertheless, just don't hold your breath with BfmE quite yet.. temper yer expectations and see if EA actually learns from the utter BS they put us through ruining what could have been an RTS classic! I do hope I AM SO WRONG but others of my fellow ZH modders would beg to differ and thus have no faith EA has learned a damn.

With that statement I agree in 100%.
And about those screenshots mentioned earlier, there is something really wrong with them, quaility is much worse in comparison with the quality from the movies. Well we'll play, we'll see. |

nfs u2 was released 1 day after going gold... ea game too...
so i was hoping for an early release. too bad....
besides many reviewers are having the game already.
im really wondering why it didnt leak till now.....
