Even if he is, nobody would want 1680x1080 lol.

We talking about the same mission here, church was really easy and there are more than one ways to finish it, you can hijack a tank get some distance and blow them one by one, you can run between west and east using the turrets and rpg, I'm not sure if the cpu gets infinite ammo, if they do than you can land in a anti-tank heli and let the friendly soldier fly it.

getting into the game a bit (47 or 52% so far), i find it quite fun but is anyone else having a "stuttering" problem?

i cant explain it at all, i actually sat here for 5 minutes trying to figure out how to explain what im talking aboot but ive come up with nothing

maybe this explains it: when your running your character like teleports ahead a few inches then pops right back to where he was, same with vehicles, they pop ahead then back really fast

its incredibly hard doing the driving/jet ski/boat missions when you have to go through the gates for time, real pain in the arse

Widescreen fix. Smile
(Small little utility, probably works just fine.)

Did a quick test here at work on my laptop, works fine !! finally widescreen ! (didnt go past the menu though, boss is walking around ghehehe.

Nice find !

EDIT:
PS, Found on the forums (link above) that it still stretches the vertical rows of the screen, however i couldnt check that though (boss story Razz).
From other forum:
Quote:
everything is vertically stretched a bit. I think this is because the "widescreen 1" value basically changes the AR to 16:9 and so a 16:10 resolution will be stretched to fit. An AR fix will be needed as well as this resolution fix to get it running properly.

So guess we need to watch it for fix v 1.1 Wink

Why we all love the PC: A program "Hard Disk LED v1.1", which simulates the light that tells you your harddrive is spinning, takes 1.2 MB zip-archived.

Been trying all the fixes for save games and for the life of me just can't get the damn thing to save for me. It's frustrating to get almost all the way thru , get killed and have to start way back....

anyone else having similar save problems still?

How many is way back ? If my character would get killed, mine current contract is canceled, I get charged $10,000 and transfered back to HQ.

Good example, puttng the listening posts out. Playing on hard, get to the last one, firefight to the max...die and I have to do the entire level over.
Now that is with autosave off as has been stated in a fix for saves. Would like to save somewhere in there rather than autosave at the onset of the level.

Version 2 of that resolution utility, now allows correct aspect ratio.
(As it says take the width and divide it with the height to get your resolution ratio.)

EDIT: I.e (And I hope this is correct.) the default value in the INI is 1.333 which is 1024/768 or 4x3 and my own 1680/1050 resolution is 1.6 or 1600 in the INI for 16x10.

SAME GAME. what part of that you cant understand?
sure the console versions are played with gamepad, and theres different problems with each version, but the game its the same... same graphics, gameplay, etc.... PC is a port from the consoles...

That's right, each version should get its own 8 minute video review, because they use slightly different control schemes.
