Flash videos do not play at all in Firefox 3. Just a blank screen.
Also, you tube videos play for about 2 seconds and stop.

I already googled this and it is a known issue but Firefox and Adobe dont want to acknowledge there is a problem.

Ill tell you, everytime something new comes out I avoid it like the plague. Im re-installing Firefox 2.0 if nobody has a fix.

Issue:

Thanks for your help.

Make sure you uninstall 9 first.

Well, now flash 10 is not working for other sites like vcdquality.com, foxsports.com. Flash pieces are not loading.

So I unisntalled 10 and reinstalled Flash Player version 9.0.124.0

Now both cnn flash vids and vcdquality, foxsports all work. Wow..this is so much fun!

Appears flash needs to be uninstalled and reinstalled again to fix problems. Dont install beta 10 as it doesnt work.

Firefox 3.01.

The latest build is 3.1a2 seeing that it's still in the alpha stage it's named Shiretoko and can be found at ftp.mozilla.org along with Firefox v3.0.2

However like you, I can't seem to see/find 3.0.3b, maybe it's an unofficial build seeing that it's open source? or maybe mozilla took it down for unknown reasons?! odd! Smile But then again I'm just speculating Razz

// correction, latest build I see is 3.1b1pre and is named Minefield -> http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/nightly/latest-trunk/firefox-3.1b1pre.en-US.win32.installer.exe

Oh well apart from the minor things here and there is pretty much all the same. Smile

Uninstalled FF3 after getting BSOD (Bad Pool Caller). See my other thread about this. Too many problems with this lame attempt of an upgrade.

This must be rather some driver/hardware problem than FF3 lol.

- Write down the relevant error code next time, for now install WinDbg and try to get/post more info from the relevant minidump file (start menu > run > minidump) generated for that crash,
- Check your ram,
- Check your components mounting,
- Check/Update your drivers/bios,
- Check for conflicts between your USB devices,
etc.
