The best releases would include both cloned isos and crack in one.

I think you guys have heard of site that is called the world of game copies if you know what I mean. I think you should go to that website for your crack related needs. Me, I saw the word Alcohol on the title of the release and immedeately decided to wait for a while. It seems it was worth it Smile

So lets IMAGINE that such a site exist...
I don't imagine this crack on the front page...
But in your dreams, where did you see it ?

Why not just wait for the no cd crack to appear on a crack site instead of downloading an entire cd again?

that would be impossible as you can't add files to a 1:1 copy...

Cracks are probably considered legal (or at least not worth considering) right now; otherwise you wouldn't see a site as public as MegaGames providing them. However, it's a gray area and therefore could be subject to change in legality at any time. NFOrce's ban on crack links is just prudent.

Strange, playing with aclohol sometimes the ship was navegating really slow (even tought it was marking 11 knots)

Now with the crack the game boots in a light speed, load in ligh speed and no more wrong knots marking... its more smooth... very strange....

But really nice Very Happy

PS: yep its no-cd

It is not illegeal to have or distribute cracks but it is illegeal to use them to crack games or software.

Cracks are for educational purposes only, at least that's what I use them for. Very Happy

NOGRP should release the saparated NOCD or cracked file only, not the whole CDs. It is wasting of bandwidth.

I loved the original im really a true fan ive even played it on virtual , but atm im very sad that it couldve been so much better it feels so consoly i feel like im playing a disney game. The dancing was fun at first but it becomes repetitve and BORING, the sims style talk is horrible ... the sneaking through towns is also very boring and fustrating i dont like hearing my pirates whistle every 10secs its too much like pacman.

There are horrible clipping issues , sailing through ships ... ships sailing through ports and forts in combat as if the ship has some sort of cloking device this shouldve been picked up by beta testers why not? probably because either atari ignored which i suspect atari are now renowned for bugsand problems. Some people complain of not being able to get the dvd working their are masses of them on atari forums, some complain of crashs this is a typical atari product i feel- Moo3/RCT3/temple of elemental evil all had noticble bugs or just niggly flaws. Land movement also has its flaws you can get stuck near an object like a house and not even be touching it like as if it has some stay away from me radius. Everytime i play this game i just feel it was more suited to the xbox and anybody under the age of 15!.

Onto the pro's , the sea graphics is brilliant love the way you can see storms trailing across the ocean , sealife jumping out of the water and your ship sails moving in the wind. I love the sea combat yes it has its flaws but its still good , the way cannon fire hits the ship and men fly off or the sails collapse this is something never been done before in a pirates game that impresses me.

Music is very much like the original too it really makes you feel like your men are singing on deck i also like hearing music sailing past different towns.

Sound is pretty much perfect from the sounds of cannons flying across the sky ready to hit the enemy ship to te sound of pirate crew cheering at your foe falling off the boat.

Some more things i like about this game is the way you can upgrade your ship with extra upgrades like new sails also the upgrading of your main character like an extra bit of protective clothing or a faster sword.

At the end of the day its a good game i cant fault that, but it has so many clipping issues that have been totaly missed which angers me maybe if i was a beta tester i wouldve picked that out for you. Basically the flaws at the top of the page make it less of an impressive game i wanted it to be, somethings feel like the original which i love and but more things make me cringe and feel like this isnt anything like the original why oh why do we have to listen to sims speak i dont know, SID what was you thinking??

Anyhoo if i gave it a rating it would be 70/100

Clipping has been around since the beginning of time, and it has little/no bearing on gameplay, why waste time revolutionizing the graphics engine when it really isn't that important?

Sad but true.

I was playing about half of the day now(yeah I got no life). And I must say this is a very good game!
It has much of the original and more, the gfx is nice and action keeps you on your toes. A very good job from old Sid.
