It's never gonna hit the scene. There's no single player. It's a Massive Multiplayer game. You have to pay monthly for it. Etc. If you're dreaming about this game wouldn't you know more about it? www.worldofwarcraft.com

think it will be released january 21 here in sweden.
I have pre-ordered the collectors edition so I will get my beta on november 26, really want to try this one out.

been playing it since it came out yesterday, thankgod this month is free....between the lag and the servers being down I am happy its free.

Yeah thats cause they have the server limits really low for a few days.. it happens when all new mmpogs are released..
or else u will have thousands in the "Newbie" zones....

About the whole multi/single player situtation:
It is MP-only, unless someone codes a working sandbox (or hacks one together from the Beta leak SB's)
It is (for now) only playable on the Bliz servers due to the bastards shutting down Stormcraft and (as far as I can tell) every other open server.
There is a huge possibility that sometime in the near future this will be hacked, maybe released.
There is a 50/50 chance there will be a release of the server software, so that people may host their own servers
There is a 50/50 chance there will be large, popular open servers after it releases
There is a 0% chance these servers will be as good, bug-free, or content-filled as Blizzards, or that they will be as diligently kept up-to-date

I'm even less 'optimistic' than you, I doubt blizzard would let any, no matter how bad it is, un-official server live.
They've proven that already

If it will be released, it'll likely be the open beta, which is basically final code anyway.

It's a mmorpg which ofcourse doesn't have single player and ofcourse won't be released in the scene as it can only be played online with you paying the monthly fee.
