Cache files from Gametap?
No this is a fully unpacked release from what I can see, file structure is identical to the first free episode (A Boy Learns What Fear Is.) unsure where it's taken from but it doesn't seem to be Gametap. (Which would be impossible as Ep4 and Ep5 hasn't been released yet.)

That's also something I wondered about, perhaps there's a compilation on some Russian or similar store site offering these five on a single disc?
I mean there's a week between each release so most of these 24 episodes should already be done as you can't really do all that much in a week.

Don't you recognize the folder layout, plus the huge read U showing up in the logo?
It's the Unreal Engine 3.0 and normally it uses PhysX for physics effects, however Grim doesn't install any drivers so it's software based and probably doesn't do any major effects.

If you've read some of the reviews, you know that the reviewers got the first 5 episodes. So, probably it's the review version.

Did someone try taking the .exe from the released Russian episodes and copying it to the "original" game (bought on GameTap)? They may be unprotected and the .exe on every episode could be the same.

If you buy it for 3.99$, you will get a standard setup.exe (just like the 1st episode had)

@ xardas96
exactly there is the setup.exe downloadable for 3,99 $ from the Gametap servers. it's a try and buy game protected with trymedia activemark. so a crack can be done. just need that someone that have buy the game try the exe from the russians homemade versions if them works

anything different in the 2nd season?
i tried 2 episodes, got bored in the middle of the 2nd.
it seems to me like mcgee forgot to insert humour and purpose to the game. it gives off a silly vibe in the beginning, but it doesn't go further with it. there's nothing funny, nor smart about the game, which is dissappointing and makes it come off as pointless.
