I saw this video a year or two ago, but I found out recently that not many people have seen this. The original Lost pilot It's a low-budget, 20 minute film that was made in 2002 by a guy named Fred Toye. The following year he started working with JJ Abrams on Alias and a year or two later they began filming Lost. This is basically Lost is it were made by a film-student on virtually no budget, and it inspired ABC to spend millions on making it into a full TV series. If you like Lost, you'll be amazed.

I didn't know it was already posted. I didn't bother searching because I wasn't going through every Lost post, and I know it hasn't been here in the last six months at least because I'd have remembered.

Hmmm just watched this... I think it's rather lame. I do see A connection with the TV series, but it's not that obvious...
