Huh? It also has LAN/DirectIP play as well - its an RTS just like Generals/Zero Hour but set in LotR times. EA wouldn't be so gawd damn stupid not for us to be able to play this at a LAN meet.

BFME is going to be BOTH online and singeplayer. Singeplayer contains approximatly 50 battles, 25 for each side (good-evil)

Umm - there are about 3 of these in every thread about an EA game. What the fuck do you mean???
Firstly - like Microsoft - They just licence most games....and if that is the case then why the broad brush statment? When you say "bad games" are you reffering to Battlefield 1942? Maybe N4S underground? Madden Series perhaps? Or possible it was Medal of Honour that was such a disgrace?
For mine - When a game begins with an EA games logo - i know i'm in for a quality title.
Do you really have a gripe or is it that EA is the gamers Microsoft - Where it is cool for 12 year old kids to "Stick it to the man" by bagging the big companies...please explain because posts like yours have baffled me for a long time.

Gamestar has always been harsh on their scores. Rome for example got just a 89%. Think the highest they have ever gone is like 93% so 86% isn't bad in their opinion. It should be said though that I haven't read their magazine in two years now though so they might have changed over that time.

Rome:TW was a 90%+ game with the majority of websites, so I would say that BFME is about a 90% game. Probably more if you like RTS games and LOTR, which I do!
