					| I don't think so, it is set to be displayed instead of a nice BSOD. I used to have that, like you said with Nvidia cards, first because of their shitty initial vista drivers then because of overheating after 3D intensive games sessions. | Mortibus wrote: | | what i want to know is is it possible to disable this trigger that forces vcard driver to reset itself, maybe some registry tweak or something? |

Dunno how it is done with Ati but maybe try to disable hardware acceleration for your videos.

					| there was a setting for the recovery trigger in xp driver settings
having it enabled sometimes made the system even more unstable for some reason
i haven't been an ati customers for a while so i don't know if it's still there
but seeing what registry key it changes and making the same change on vista could be something to try

					| This is known to happen when the memory and FSB are unlocked, meaning each runs at different speed. Try looking into the advanced BIOS settings. | |

					| I have nV and get this from time to time because of overclocking, when the memory is unlinked from the FSB. It has nothing to do with what card you have. | |
