that keep voting 10 for 1 grp and vote 1 for all others. The scores are totally nonsaying, since it seems some grps have nothing else to do than signing up and voting 10 for their own rlses. A cleanup and some new voting rules would def. help Nforce become a better place.

ah there is pretty much nothing we can do. There will always be people doing this it happens here it happens at vcdquality it's the nature of the beast. Just weed out the 10's and 1's and see what the real scores are and make your opinion. Also remember your taste are different then everyone elses so the voting system might not even fit your opinion

It's a problem of the voting system itsself. I said that in another thread before, take the game iso section as an example. If the game works, and you are only supposed to vote for the quality of the release and not the game you must give it a 10. If the game doesn't work, then you have to vote a 1, there is nothing really in between, at least for games, apps, consoles. So deleting all 1 and 10ers isn't a solution for those sections.
I vote a lot of 10s too, especially in the tvrips section, just because most lol releases are flawless. Could you name these groups you suspect billyboy, i am just curious

As I said before + some more proposals:
1. Divide the voting section into two sections more specifically [The release itself - how it works, how well it was packed, crack etc] / The game, movie, application etc - Is the app good?, Was the movie watchable?, Bad game? and so on].
2. Put a note on every voting section that you need to vote accurately and not 1/10 or 10/10 + that mods are watching you and this behaviour may get you banned.
3. Hmmm, thinking...

yeh split the voting system into two.
one section is voting for the quality of the release, another for the quality of the product.
makes alot of sense.
e.g. crap game but well cracked could get 9/10 for the release and just 3/10 for the game.

can't agree more... would be the perfect solution... vote for the game and vote for the work releasing it

we are currently working on the voting system. For now we just have to weed out most of the idiot voters to keep it a bit clean.
Soon we will have a new system...just hang in there a bit longer
and yes...there are alot of voters that immediately vote when there is a release on NFOrce...without even trying it. Maybe I'll delete all of the votes the first day or so...don't know yet.

voting seems to be disabled at the moment because i get the message " under construction" when i try to vote.
I would also like to see people banned from voting who obviously have no clue about the whole thing. I have one voter in mind who always votes 1 for 720p releases because they pre later than the usual LOL or TCM crap. And he always makes comments like "omg this is crap LOL owns". He deson't know shit about tv releases anyway.

please report him to me...I'll take a look and if necessary delete and ban him from voting
We've already deleted and banned 20 or so users the last couple of weeks...it's starting to clean up a bit, atleast in the pc iso section.
BTW: funny detail is that the threadstarter of this thread also has been banned like 2 days ago.
