The latest Eastern Sun release is still 1.10-based, plus note that it copies most(all?) files it needs, including executables, to its own separate folder (for me it's at Diablo II\es300r).
I don't think you can use any crack either, only way I got it working (after a lot of trial & error and cursing) was via CD image loaded into d-tools (had to dl a new image just for that, too, the one I made with alcohol 120% off my cd didn't work, but for you it might).
Edit: or yeah just ask Xenthalon how to make the loader work, I never bothered with that myself.

BlizzPlanet posted some rumors from PC Gamer that tease towards a big Blizzard announcement in Paris next month (thanks Blue's News).
- PC Gamer was probably among the Gaming press Magazines who visited Blizzard Entertainment early on May, a few weeks ago.
- If you remember, PC Gamer knew about the Starcraft II announcement last May 2007. Blizzard Entertainment made the announcement at the Blizzard Worldwide Invitationals (WWI) at Seoul, South Korea.
- PC Gamer can't talk about it for the next 30 days ... the 2008 Blizzard Worldwide Invitationals at Paris, France takes place on June 28-29.
- June 29 is the date Diablo II shipped on USA (2000) and the same date the expansion Lord of Destruction shipped on Europe a year later (2001).

I must admit, I DID think it was a tad odd that Blizzard, completely out of the blue, would snap up the Diablo3.com domain name only a few weeks ago.

Ghost was made by a third party for blizzard. But as with everything that isn't going to be a mega-ultra-hit from blizzard's perspective, it was canned.

Update (3pm): The XFire WWI page has been edited, removing the Game Announcement part. For those skeptic, I took a screenshot before it got edited. I learned to take screenshots after Legendary Pictures pulled a similar stunt (removing and editing Diablo from the Films Under Development section).
- If you are wondering, I contacted my XFire liaison around noon. No response as of 3pm.
- Also one of my Blizzard liaisons. Blizzard has not made any press releases concerning a Game Announcement.
Original Story
XFire either accidentally posted there would be a Game Announcement based on the rumors sprung from DiabloFans.com and Blizzplanet, or they know something and oops ... slipped it. Did XFire confirm there will be a game announcement?
As usual, I will communicate with my XFire and Blizzard contacts for a comment to clarify this new rumor. Stay tuned for updates.
At this point, this is still considered a rumor -- keep that in mind. Blizzard has not made any official announcements concerning a a game announcement at the Blizzard Worldwide Invitationals.

Somthing si going downm all the diblo3.*** is either dying or redirect you to some blizzrd site.
Okay so I'm going to try and compile a list of sites and where they're redirecting people.
www.diablo3.com - Redirecting some to DiabloFans, others to a dead link.
www.diablo3.net - A (german?) D3 fansite.
www.diablo3.co.uk - Redirects to battle.net
www.diablo3.fr - Begins to redirect you to the Blizzard website, followed shortly after by a "Down For Maintenance" page.
www.diablo3.es - "Page cannot be displayed"
www.diablo3.eu - "Page cannot be displayed"
www.diablo3.de - Redirects to the D2: LoD page.
Anyone want to correct/add to this?
I get the following Up for maintanace page for the .es and .eu
and the rest is as you said, and yes it is a german fan site

1.) Blizzard getting the diablo3.com domain
2.) The constant rumors spreading around ever since they aquired it
3.) The teaser being right before WWI just like SC2's announcement
4.) WWI being hosted in Paris this year
5.) Wotlk and SC2 already have been revealed with tons of content so there's no point in making a teaser for either one.
6.) WWI happens during Diablo's anniversary

yes Karmeck, I noticed a strange opening page when I went to the European blizzard homepage, hope it is Diablo 3, they have enough cash to develop alot of games at a time, earning 1.2 billion dollars a year with WOW
also they have a job opening (they mention in it that they developed Diablo 1 & 2

Oh god dammit i cant take it anymore. Announce it finally or DIE. We have waited for too long and seeing WoW has expansion, Starcraft II is announced, what else is there to announce?? Diablo III ofc.

The hidden picture today is 04.jpg (why did they name it to that instead of ex hidden.jpg or 01.jpg?). If it follows the same system as WWI howevery it will be D.jpg ... a good sign won't you say?

Why 232309? If we assume that the numbers correspond to the letters in the alphabet we get 232309=WWI ... ring a bell?  World Wide Invitational
23 = W
23 = W
09 = I
Anyway the "hidden" picture is called 04.jpg. (http://us.media.blizzard.com/232309/_images/04.jpg)
My guess is that tomorrow we'll see a picture called 09.jpg, then on wednesday 01.jpg ....
Today is 04.jpg = D
if Tomorrow will be 09.jpg = I (if its not, maybe not diablo at all )
Wednesday will be 01.jpg = A
Thursday will be 02.jpg = B
Friday will be 12.jpg = L
Saturday will be 15.jpg = O (June 28 WWI 1st Day)
Sunday will be 3.jpg = 3 or three.jpg or whichever. = (June 29 WII 2nd Day, and B-day of Diablo)
STOP lookin at the image of 04.jpg =p its nothing related to the announcement!
if tomorrow's image is 09.jpg it is going to be Diablo for sure if you read the above lines
