I really liked these movies despite it getting a bit silly as they kept churning out the sequels and the not so great Freddy Vs Jason :/

Anyway there is a remake currently being filmed for release early next year and starring Jared Paladecki (Sam Winchester from Supernatural) ... I look forward to this!
