Isn't it a better idea to feed the poor or something instead of wasting time and money on this kind of shit?

Of course in a perfect world the time and money would go to the starving!
But may I ask, what do YOU do the help the situation? Do you send money to the poor instead of smoking that weed, drinking that beer or whatever could be classified as "waste of money & time".

Squirrely: Now come on y'all. We can't waste time arguing. There could still be survivors out there. We need to hunt them down, and kill them.
Beary: How about we kill them, and then rape their bodies so we can use their blood as lubricant.

We are not worthy...simple and plain, said it before, but this just proves it again, WTF!...what a pointless feat that was...totally and utterly...POINTLESS! If ppl get exited by this...we are very very close to oblivion, that's for SURE!

Just look at these MORONS in their rain ponchos laughing at WHAT!!!!???. We are nothing more then a bunch of total mega losers. Getting pleasure out of spurting some crappy soft drink to kingdom come...WTF is the point of that...well anything for that matter. Oh crap, this made me really depressed!Sad

Just look at those APES!...dam!...sorry Apes are 101% more worthy to live on this planet then this bunch of critters...have to stop here..."shaking"

That is not enough. You should not have any fun, nor should you try to get an education, nor should you spend any money that you don't need for your own survival on anything but food for the poor.

Blaming these 1500 for their chemistry experiment and having fun is ridiculous, when everyone here does worse every single day of their lives.

I think theres having fun and having fun by waste. I mean if someone bought a brand new Ferrari and took a sledge hammer to it, then peoples attitued would be wholly different. Or that stupid idiot that bought the Wii and a few other things just to break. I hate deliberate waste, most people don't know how lucky they are to have the resouces that we have. To see them thrown away just annoys me.

I can agree with that Smile

@Rinze

I dont see the point your trying to make. I have no problem with ppl spending money to better themselves, have fun or provide for themselves. I do have a problem with ppl wasting food and or money in such a stupid way.
What does exploding pop contribute to society? Any type of scientific benefit? is anyone getting some sort of education? no. Its a waste of money which either could be spent on the poor, or not at all and still spent on things that deserve it (like education or food or even fun)

I totally agree with CaptainCox and SycoShaman.

That was just wasting money, it wasn't cool. I would never buy myself a Coke and mentos and then just throw it away like this students did.

My point is:
Every minute you spend on nforce or anywhere else on the internet, while you could have been out on the fields growing food for the poor is a waste.
If you have a car you waste more money every single day of your life than any of these 1500 students did.
If you have a house that's larger than you absolutely need, you waste more money every single day than these students did.
Every time you go to a bar to drink you waste more money than any of these students did (you could have drunk 1 cent worth of water instead of dozens of dollars worth of drinks)
If you ever buy clothes before your old ones are broken you waste more money than any of these people did.

They had fun, they might get an interest in chemistry, they probably had lessons explaining what happens when you put the mentos in the bottle. They didn't waste anything, and even if they did you have no right to complain because your (and everyone else's) behaviour is far worse.

I do have a right to complain dude, or rather to speak my opinion on the subject.

As for my behaviour, well i will admit i do go drinking from time to time, but thats it. I dont own a vehicle and my house is just the right size for me - a bungalow with 2 bedrooms, a half bath and a full bath.

I was simply pointing out that the money could have been put to better use. It doesnt matter what you say, your not going to convince me that wasting so much food and or money is the right thing to do.

And yes, while there may be a chemistry aspect to it, the same thing couldn't have been achieved with say one pop and one pack of mentos? did they really have to have a so many people participating? its not like the result changes if you have 1 can or a thousand.

As someone who donates (im not just talking money either - time, energy and food) i take offence when i see such waste happening. If instead of buying say just the pop and donating that money to their local food bank, how many families could have had food this week (or whenever they did it)?

I wasnt brouoght up in a life of luxury. Now and again we had to use food banks, so yeah, things like this kinda hit home for me. I was always taught never to waste and aside from the one time a month i go drinking, I dont really waste money. And even still, Im not saying dont have fun (whether it be the internet or drinking or whatever). If you work for your money than you can do whatever you want with it.
It just bothers me that if these kids would have collected the money and made a donation to a food bank, I betcha alot of kids would have had say lunch for school or dinner on the table when they get home.
Exploding pop serves no purpose
