There is one question that still baffles me. First Mortyr was very, very bad and got unanimously poor reviews. So why make a sequel? Now when anyone sees the name "Mortyr" thinks "aw, the first one was pure shit"...

well, i actually liked the first mortyr and it had some astounding effects for its time. The snow was cool, the sounds where cool, the mirror surfaces in some levels where awesome, especially the one in a cathedral. The mp was really shitty but sp was pretty good, although it got repetitive later on and you couldnt kill hitler

If it plays as bad as it looks... Well, unfortunately Polish games are nopt top quality. I hope The Witcher will be cool, although most of people outside Poland, Czech Republic and Russia do not know the books by Sapkowski, on which the game is based. They will miss a lot of a story...
Anyway, try our Vodka instead. You won't be dissapointed.

Yeah, Lutzifer. Cool comic. Anyway, the world "Wiedzmin" is hard or even impossible to translate accurately. It was translated as "der Hexer" in German. I dunno if it's better. Anyway, before playing the game it is essential IMO to read the books.
Oh and in English a male witch in English is a warlock...

Btw , MORTYR 2 is passable game , if you are recreative drug and alcohol abuser, to kill some time in sunday in 7 AM in the morning , between last joint and first beer.

How is the performance on your computers with this game? Mine sucks. I have an Athlon XP 3200 with X800 Pro and I play in 1024 with no AA&AF. The game runs like shit. When shooting with MG about 20 fps or lower. I´m using Radeon Omega Drivers v2.5.90 (8.07 Beta) drivers, any ideas ?

I have to put the game at the minimum quality to not have lag...poor coding

My rig is not running that well either. I have a P4 with 512 megs and using an X800 Pro.
Also....I can't get past the collesuim level without a crash. The game crashes to desktop saying some kind of Radeon error. Any ideas?
I am using the most recent catysts.

the performance is crap !!!!
p4 3 ghz ( HT 1mb CACHE) @ 3,35 GHZ
2 x 512 ddr ram (400 / CL2) TWINMOS
GeForce 6800 16 pipelines LEADTEK
play in 1024 x 768 works well !
think the gameplay is a little lame !

Well Catalyst 4.10 makes Call of duty and CoD-UO freeze your PC that you need to reboot so 4.10 might be the problem

I´m playing at 1024 with medium details now ant it runs ok. At least with 30 fps and up. But it´s the first game I have to play with medium details on my x800 pro.

Looks pretty shitty. On the other hand I've never played a WW2 fps as a german soldier. Nice concept.

well played it, it was pretty bad. Even with a good gaming computer it still lags a bit on medium graphics. The ai is really bad:
- It happens that they just sit there and wait
- They just keep running in circles
- They can shoot at you from behind bushes from where you can't even see them in the distance
- You will never be able to sneak up to one. He will ALWAYS see you
- You shoot them in their head 10 times and still they keep firing at you, i shot a whole round at a dude from really close and still he was not dead and firing at me
- they just come from nowhere. if they would come out of a building i could understand but i went into a building and when i came out 3 seconds later it was crawling with germans. It could have been possible but there were no houses, there was no truck, there was just snow
other than that:
- there are short movies sometimes which are really annoying.
- reloaded takes pretty long
- bushes are really annoying. I'm looking at one and walking and i didn't even hit and it it made noises and it keeps making noises (noises like someone is crawling tru them) long after you are gone
It could have been a great game if it had better graphics, better ai and better coding.
