i like ants. But not at home. Try to check out how they come in and seal those places up. You could also set up pheromone-traps for them. But that can lead to even more of them in the house, if it is easily accessible. Vacuum-cleaners do a nice job too, if you re dealing with streams of ants

This little fuckers are so hard to get rid off. They are getting in my apartment thorugh the walls, water and electric installation...
I ve trided with traps, baking powders, all kind of poisons, but i failed with all of them.
Im living in multistorey building, so if im the only one figting this fuckers, im doomed to lose against them.

I had an invasion last year. This year i gave them boiling water. Never saw a single ant since
then. (btw i never used poison cause i have a little daughter and a cat)

Poison won't kill the queen when they swarm. It happens once a year at my place. The only thing you can do is dig the nest out. Its under my house so thats an option it will cost something like 30k to do that. So I'll put up with it.

i remember as a kid i would fill my supersoaker with like 36 sorts of aceton / paint remover / bleach and what not , pretty lethal mix ,havent seen any ants for 15 years around my house , also the grass is comming back finally haha

i'd put that ant powder stuff all over my house lol and hope it kills them, the one where they walk it back into there next.
dont know if it works on those kind of ants though, my parents house had a swarm of little black ants one year that were coming in from the garden , i just poured ant powder everywhere they walked to get into the house, but i guess u need to know where there coming from

Thats nasty. When i lived in Australia, i would get little black ants in my house. I found i had to rinse everything, all my soda bottles, clean every last crumb of the counter, and use alot of cleaners. They probably like the taste and smell of your tooth paste. When i kept a super clean house they rarely came back. Not saying your house is dirty though, but i had to keep my place like medical clean.

My GF is a cleaning freak, so this couldnt be a problem.

Im guessing they will be coming from the warmer parts of your apartment.. check the heating area, the kitchen + cooker etc.

we came home once to find the entire kitchen crawling with ants, all the walls and ceiling, everywhere. dont remeber how we got rid of them but i sured killed alot
and even now every summer when the ants come out of their nests (not in the kitchen anymore) but just outside on the path, i can spend hours squishing them. we have less and less ants

Holy shit! I have the same problems with these little fuckers... I live on a pretty high up floor in my apartment ... I think they are coming in through the walls.
hard to use poison or anything because of the cats :/

That gave me an idea: Hose the area down, disconnect the power cord from your PC (you'll need to shut it down first) but leave it plugged in, then zap the suckers.
Seriously though, don't do that.
