Anyone got one of these: www.popcornhour.com. Got mine through, man it's awesome only one problem so far, not all 2.35:1 aspect ratio mkv's don't play in the correct aspect. Hopefully a fix is coming up.

Would be interesting if you'd be able to run it with an encrypted hdd.

Any information on that?
  Something 'bout rated movies..

No, you have to format it to EXT3 file system in order for it to read the HDD.

With no possiblity to encrypt it there's actually no need for it.. At least not in a country

You can stream stuff over the network, the server you store files on can be encrypted.

Yeah, but the streaming's performance of the chip is pretty low, I'm not sure it would be possible to steam the high-end bitrate 1080p rips.

It's quicker than the internal hard-drive and as quick as USB. 42-48mpbs. (http://www.networkedmediatank.com/wiki/index.php/Main_Page). As long as you use HTTP. You can stream blu-rays and HD DVDs, so rips will be fine.

Ye, but the big advantage of this thing is that you actually _don't_ need a pc.

If I stream off my server I can connect my server to the tv/stereo right away.
