Okay for some reason Nero 6 isn't letting me put any vob files onto a DVD-R.

See it says DVD+R but not DVD-R.

Nero is just saying no disk inserted.

Anyone know anyother software I can use to put the vobs on a DVD-R to make a movie disk for a dvd player.

I've not written a DVD disk in years and I can't understand why it's not working.

Sometimes that happens when you have either bum media or a bum drive. Try more media.

I'll post a screenshot of it in a mo but it is capable of DVD-R's.

It used to work, but I've not used it in ages.

Can't work out why it won't detect the disk in Nero but it's fine when I write files onto the disk through the Windows crap.

I assume you are choosing the dvd-files burning option? |

Yeah I know but it's urgent and more people look here.

It's for an old guy up the road, bless him. He's not well and I thought I'd write him a film.

Or you could run the dvd files through dvdshrink which will also create an iso.
May the NFOrce be with you always.
