Cant stand the gta games on ps2 after pc...
Really makes urs eyes hurt and controls are stupid..
Would rather wait a year for a good pc version

From what i heard there are no packages but what has replaced them is that you have to tag over 100 pieces of rival gang graffiti. Not confirmed though.

Yup Yup I can confirm this. You have a can of spray paint which can be found in your house, which you use to tag over other rival gang tags which can be found around the map.

how big is the first city? Rockstar said every city was about as big as vice city...
and did they impent ragdoll physics?
And what about you being able to set houses on fire?

I haven't really felt the feeling of each city being bigger than VC (I'm still on the first city), but thinking about it.. they could possible be slightly bigger.
Ragdoll physics don't seem to be implemented, or maybe only works for certain weapons. I've driven into a few people and they don't really seem to die with a ragdoll effect. If anything, running people over has the feeling of a road block ^_^
Setting houses on fire... hmm... haven't given that a test out yet, might need to try and find myself a flamethrower or rocketlauncer hehe. Will get back to you on this one once I've given it a thorough testing.

there are no official plans for the xbox. if rockstar chooses to bring it to xbox it wont be by this year. they didnt announce the double pack until it was practically half way done. as far as burns go, i might have a bad burn since i read ps2 hates +r media but i still dont like the game. original fans of the game will love it though.

Not true. It's just that current (console) technology has limits.
If you could go in every building, the AI was really realistic, proper physics were implemented it could add a whole new dimension to the game.
Being able to rob a bank when you wanted, where everyone cowers on the floor, and if you planned it properly you could get away with it.
Or being able to hole up in your house and try to survive a police siege, while looking for a way out with your friends.

i was driving around on the next island with 4 stars, no loading times between the island, have i told you yet this game rocks? the desert up north looks very nice

Yeah that's great to hear. Vice City had loading between each side of the island, and although it was only for a few seconds it wasn't too bad, but it's pretty damn impressive that they've now got a much bigger map with no noticeable loading at all.

I have the missing textures also. I have tried 3 different burns and the 3rd seems to be the best, but I still have them. I have used 120% and DVD decrypter. I am using Fuji media with the purple dye. Any ideas to get my textures back?
Game is great! Pick up my preorder on Monday, but I still would like to get this texture thing figured out.
