Im fearing this is correct - if you download DLC to a HDD, then try to play it on a hacked 360 it won´t show up? In that case, im fucking pissed Watercooled 5950X \| AORUS Master X570 \| Asus RTX 3090 TUF Gaming OC \| 64Gb RAM \| 1Tb 970 Evo Plus + 2Tb 660p \| etc etc

Are you talking about downloading from the internet or off of Xbox live? If you are talking about D\L'ing directly off LIVE, then it shows up... In the Arcade blade under Games!!

Where do you live?? Are you playing the right region game?? If you live in the US you should only be playing NTSC version games.... If you live in Europe you should only be playing PAL versions!

u have to connect to x-live and wait for your console to get a patch automatically after dLding DLC for forza 2 at least it was for last time i dLded Nissan pack wait if console is banned u can't do that haha welcome to the club the only way to fix that is to plug your hd to not banned console

Yeah, i am playing the right region (PAL) cause FM2 isnt region free -therefor i have the PAL release

The patches are stored on the HDD, so i can get the patches.

Well this is not really a secret or new information, MS has been doing this for years. There was already DLC for the old Xbox that was locked to your console. New Splinter Cell levels and new tracks for PGR2 for example. Even some Xbox 360 demos don't work on other consoles. I remember the Stranglehold demo didn't work when you downloaded it from somewhere else than Xbox Live. You lack good google skills! Yes that is actually the case. It's the same if your box dies and you have DLC's on your hd. Somewhere on the MS site i read that you can contact support for that matter and they can help you to make it work again on a new console.

yep, i have download content on my my banned 360 for test drive unlimited and becasue its banned it won't even launch the game due to missing content. It no problem though i just play on my PS3 instead now, 360 hardly gets used these days

When you (if you) get ROD you can say fuck it, send it in (if you sticker is intact, not that they they care it seems like). All that happens if you get caught is that they send it back with a Pioneer DVD ROM :\
