Just finished watching the DVD Screener of this movie and it is a solid british gangster movie based on a true story from1996. I can remember this when it was in the news about Tony Tuckers firm... This is on of the best movies ive seen all year...also looks at all the conspiricary theries that were floating about at the time of the murders

wow they picked the ugliest mutha to lead this film, then about halfway through the film shifts to his friends, I dont quite understand where all the rising of a footsoldier was, and it just seemed to be a film about tying in a real life event of the murder at the end. all in all 5/10 gratitious violence done in such a non stylish way doesnt do it for me im afraid.

You do realise that in real life the people involved in these sorts of situations aren't Hollywood pretty boys, the casting was quite accurate.

I disagree i dont think it was just tyin in the murders at the end the whole film showed how one man progressed from a football hooligan into the london underworld and ultimatley becuase of certain actions such as drug dealing ended up in the death of three of the firm. Like the guy said before about how the actors looked tom crusie wpuldnt have really been realistc playin a lead part. All these actors had grit which is what was needed to play these kind of characters.
Also footsolidier i belive is what they namd the footy hooligans in the 80's unless someone can correct me
