Why is it stupid? Have u read what they stand for?
If so don't u think that all we humans do is destroying the planet and take everything for granted? Some places on earh are soon overcrowded to.

Of course I've read what they stand for... But to promote extinction for all of us is stupid. The earth will die eventually anyway, plus take the fact that Man himself wont last a million years on this planet anyway. Nature has a strong way to create life and it will do so until the universe collapse.

It's silly to assume that if humans were taken out of the equation, the planet would return to some garden of eden state. Even if it were to somehow 'regenerate' itself what good would it do us humans.

The fact that we evolved along with other species on this planet means that we are as much part of the system as the other organisms. We just have to learn to reduce our impact on the surroundings. If we don't, tough luck. We will have deserved the consequences we then face.

And who is to say that the earth without humans is guaranteed an existence. The extinction events that wiped out the dinosaurs could have just as easily wiped out ALL life on earth. Who would we have blamed then? In fact, I think that humans are the one species on the planet who can maybe, just maybe, prevent such an event from happening (yes, too much Armageddon Very Happy). In the worst case scenario, we would definitely (if the planet isn't split in two Sad ) survive such an event and reclaim the earth instead of leaving it to the cockroaches. Razz
