The NFL player might want to check a map before he gets on board a plane for Sunday's prestige game against the New York Giants at Wembley Stadium.
Crowder, who comes from Atlanta in Georgia, may be praised on the field, but confessed geography was not his strong point.
He admitted he did not know until now where London was - or that Londoners spoke English.
"I couldn't find London on a map if they didn't have the names of the countries," he said.
"I swear to God. I don't know what nothing is. I know Italy looks like a boot. I learned that."
Crowder added: "I know (Washington Redskins linebacker) London Fletcher. We did a football camp together. So I know him.
"That's the closest thing I know to London. He's black, so I'm sure he's not from London. I'm sure that's a coincidental name."
The Miami Dolphins are play the New York Giants at Wembley this Sunday in the first NFL regular-season game to be played outside the United States. |

whats with the racism? It s not as if geography was a hot topic for europeans either. Name all the states of the u.s. (i know i cant), with their respective capitols (no way, hosey). Same goes for africa and asia. What do you gain from your cheap-shot racism really?

It has nothing to do with racism, not to know that people in ENGLAND speak English is just plain stupid...

Nobody claimed it was due to his race his iq was low - your running a witch hunt here mate. Hell, the text doesnt even tell if Channing Crowder is black or white. I suggest you read the full thread next time  |
i refered to the posts of xBXSx (which is especially fucked up since he claims to be straight edge) and Perry Rhodan (and they let people like that vote???).
I m not on a witch hunt, but i might have overreacted because i m concerned about the habits of the world-news forum not spreading everywhere else on the board...
...still, the two posts i pointed out above are borderline racist and dont go down well with me |

To clear things up, i was referring to his level of education, because it is my opinion that people who are as uneducated as him shouldn't be allowed to vote, and that doesn't even have anything to do with him being a US citizen. When i look at the Neonazis in eastern germany (i am german, might add that) i think the same thing. These idiots clearly don't know what they're doing, and to think they get to decide over who is getting elected in my country...? Not a nice thought for me. Or to quote Volker Pispers:" Wenn Sie solche Idioten sehen, da können Sie doch nicht mehr allen Ernstes für ein allgemeines Wahlrecht eintreten!" 
So long story short, nothing about race here, just think you should posess some amount of common sense and knowledge.
Oh and another thing Lutzifer: London, England isn't exactly like Dumpwater, Florida. He should have heard about it at some point in school at least once.
