Yep, it looks really good, certainly much better than the G9 brick. When my G7 goes away (probably soon), that will probably be my mouse too.

I have one and it's great. The adjustable scroll wheel is the best I have ever used.

guess its a definable button .. at the mx510 it was for task-switching when you had default options

Yeah, it's an Alt+Tab replacement (at least that's what it says in the Logitech site).

my mx1000 kicks enough ass as it is...
plus i think its better for button customisation than this one... i dont fancy using the thumb wheel as a click button function...

It allows you to to a search on any highlighted text. You do have to have the Logitech software installed to use that feature. If the software is not installed it brings up a search window.

Personally I can't stand that mouse, a friend of mine had it and when I used her PC it drove me nuts.

I'd attempt to get it but im such a fan of Razer due to the best customer service I know I have troubles putting money down on any other brand
