Well someone must have made it pretty damn far, you're left little hints on the walls until right near the end.

that reminds me off when i looked out of a window while on a train and instinctly thought: ", nice water-effects, great and resolution, awesome textures" when seeing a nice view of a river Very Happy

@AM: sure, i still hope that that last scene has some other meaning too as opposed to what i said in the spoiler. Hope always dies last Very Happy

Yeah the Hints "Over Here!" etc. could be just marks being placed there for the test subject. While map packs would be cool too, i so hope that Portal will be continued storywise. Smile After all it was the reason i purchased the Orange Box in the first place.

didnt somebody post an interview with gabe newell earlier in this thread where he said that portal would be continued? Or did i read that someplace else?

you can hear it in-game when you play this game in the commentary mode and go to one of those 4 secret rooms

Nice Smile Finally its here. I wonder why the Achievments are not working, but its not a biggie. I love to play my purchased games standalone w/o steam. Knowing Valve cant restrict the access to the games is a great plus for me. As Half Life and Portal are Offline Games anyway i really couldnt care less. Smile Although if i´m not wrong a Portal Patch has been released on Steam. In Fact, i got a problem with it atm, i´m trying to download another language file and it just says that the Servers are busy .. now it stopped at 95% ... sucks. Wink .... oh well, Crack wins again.

Does crackfix work for anyone? I tryed advanced lvls and it still crashes when entering elevator.

just tried the crackfix in portal and yeah it still crashes when entering the elevators for me as well. not like that matters too much though, as you finished the level anyway when you enter it. might as well just go back to the main menu and try the next one when you get to the elevator.

Maybe you need to fully replay the Game with the Fix and unlock the Advanced Chambers again?

For those who loved this game i recomend Nuclear Monkey Software first game "Narbacular Drop" its a freeware game presenting the portal technology , before they became the part of Valve
