Hi,

I've got a problem with Tribes3.
I'm in the main menu, I press 'new game', then I choose a difficulty, and then a loading screen appears.
So far, so good.
But when he is done loading, the screen turns white with alot of blue squares. Sometimes the sound will start, but most of the time not.
When the screen turns white, the system itself is completely locked.
The only way to reboot is to press the button on the pc itself.

I've tried different solutions.
My system is dualboot, so drivers on both OS's are different now.
Specs:
AMD 2800+
512MB DDR 333
GF 4 TI 4200 128MB

Windows XP 1:
SP1
Latest nvidia drivers
Latest via hyperion drivers
DirectX 9.0c

Windows XP 2:
SP1
Omega drivers
Older Hyperion drivers
DirectX 9.0c

I thought it might be directX, but then I realized the Rome TW demo did the same thing, and that was before I got DX 9.0c

Anybody know a solution?

sorry . absolutely no idea.

an idea would be to do a format & do a fresh install of ! xp sp 1 ! , then update everything on it ( drviers , video & audio , mobo , dx9.0c , get OFFICIAl nvidia drivers ) .

NEVER use 2 winblowz again !

Well, I've allready formatted the day before I got Tribes.
2 windows' should not be the problem.
Both are on different partitions.

But thanks for the reply
