i'm bit baffled here but maybe someone can help me.
i play The Suffering Ties That Bind but i can play only couple of minutes till game crashes to desktop. No such problems with other games. I have latest nvidia vga, chipset and audio drivers, latest DX.
all i can think now is maybe there are some problems with crack. or are there a lot of protection triggers. if not then maybe my PC is just not compatible with this awesome game as i didn't find any similar problem posted here.

Probably crack-related. I remember I got it working with the newer crack in Gamecopyworld (by CiFE). Better reinstall and try that (I am assuming you are using the older one,heh)

actually i tried different crack from GCW. but i notice no different behavior. anyway, i will try again cause i don't remember was my crack CIFE's or not. tnx anyway.
oh, game is reinstalled also. one other thing occured to me. i have also first Suffering installed. i can't see reason how but are there possibility there are some conflicts? i've heard texture problems with first Suffering if second one is installed (luckily it didn't happened to me) but maybe it's vice versa fu..ed up?

i got it work! Maybe someone will be with same problem one day, so...
First thing i did i removed StarForce drivers with latest StarForce removal tool. If i saw no effect i tried different compatibility modes. Win 98/Me worked fine. It still crashed few times but it was acceptable. I guess SF drivers doesn't matter but compatibility mode needs switching.

well guess the game is badly cracked , have the original disks and it still works ok
