Heh, seems they just changed the system to fix that hole. Still, they didn't delete the file off their servers yet Razz Which is the only thing they can do to be 100% secure. Makes me wonder if they are reading warez forums right now Twisted Evil Twisted Evil

Why does it even matter? Devs often put files onto fileplanet for beta's.. Just because I downloaded it doesn't make me a criminal, if that were the case I would have deleted all of the links to the download. Cracking this file is not legal, installing it is.

Its not about legal or illegal. The devs have all the rights, including to bar you from playing.

Change the exe in the distributable version of the beta. I dunno, maybe just a couple of bytes. Then check for that when they log in to your central server. If their exe is invalid, fuxx00rage initiate.

Its what I would do. Then even more people would hate on my ass Cool
