It's an open-ended space sim, by a small developer and published by Jowood ---> the perfect recipe for an unfinished space bugfest. Bring it on, I say !

@ Myslead
I searched at Gamespot and it says totally different publishers for all these games !
Anyway, the gothic ordeal is enough to condemn them, let's hope they have learned from their mistakes (yeah, right)

Of course Gamespot says different,it mostly shows US publishers and release dates.
Jowood did publish Chaser,The guild 2,Silent storm and many more.
Not ALL jowood games are buggy(much anyway). Spellforce series were great and Aquanox too...also Chaser,Arx Fatalis,Etherlords, etc.
Just hoping this game will be good, bugs I can handle if they are not as severe as in X3: reunion(plot stopping bugs),but we'll see.

Oh.. This is Space Force 2, so I guess they renamed it/gave it a proper title. Been waiting for this game for some time.

Sounds like the flight model will be pretty decent, at least better than the arcadish X3 one.
More info about the game here.

Wow. Never thought i'd get some belief in the spacesim-genre again. But this both looks good and promises the right things.
Fingers crossed.

If it's just like a better version of freelance i'll be very pleased. Though i'm still waiting for the game that combines Elite style space simulation with the ability to explore and fight on planets.

Ship models don't look too HQ judging by that trailer, seems like it's a bit more strategy than simulation.

why cant anyone make a game like elite with realistic galaxy and physics (except jumpdrive) instead of the cartoonish going through jumpgate to sector the size of my living room. When playing elite, i could really get the feeling of something that resembled the true scale of the galaxy. it was friggen huge, and friggen scary to be stranded out there in the endless black void if your jumpdrive broke down.

Demo next Tuesday on FP. It must leak soon (at least the demo- gamershell must have it in their pocket so you never know.)

I hope so too,but I haven't seen any official statement about the release date.
I can only rely on store dates. ppl in the forums say the US version might be delayed to june 5th.
Where do you get your info from...is it reliable?
