Well someone reported that the x360 takes 3seks longer to boot after the spring update which could mean a dump of the firmware and comparing with what it should be. Not confirmed though.
People have been banned that have never even touched crackdown or halo 3 beta.
If we are banned from live will we be able to access updates required for games? If not we won't be able to play newer games that requires a certain version of the dashboard/similar.
People with NME and the like seem to be fine for the moment. IMHO that would indicate some kind of firmware check as the NME only modifies code while a burned game is in the drive. So if it dumps when starting it could very well mean that chip-users are safe.
Behold his GLORY! Bow for the technical master!

i read on maxconsole that the z error code value tells if the 360 is inline for a ban. MY Z value is 0000-0000, which is supposed to be safe, for some reason!!!

If you go to the xbox live website, and then to profile and login, there is a billing page. However it tells you to go this page but the link from this page just takes you to a help page instructing you to go to this page.
So I just changed the fucking expiry date on my visa card details.

This is off topic, but I noticed in another thread you said you have 10ps3 games.
Does that include COD3, and if so does the framerate stutter in online multiplayer?
Also are there usually many games on the go?
Cheers.

using that site you can paste it into excel and then do txt to colums and then filter the data. Ive had a quick look but need to go to work. Maybe there are correlations there between banned xboxes and non banned. Then you may be able to have an idea how m$ are doing this
btw still not banned

One thing, I've been reading the threads on xbox scene, and there seems to have been people banned in pretty much all possible permetations of drive firmware etc. One was even banned playing halo3 without a DVD in the drive, which suggests it's either pre-stored information, or detecting the firmware, not a backup.
One thing that occured to me, is that, with the nature of the bans being in batches, they may be calculating based on a composite of information, all calculated by the most dangerous animal, a human being.

This was just posted on Microsoft's Games Global Marketing team blog:
One of the great things about LIVE and the unified community is that we work hard to create a level playing field for all gamers and have a no tolerance policy towards inappropriate behavior like hacking or cheating. As part of our commitment to our members, we do not allow people that we have detected to have modified their console to connect to LIVE. This is an important part of our efforts to try and maintain a fair gaming environment for the large majority of gamers that play by the rules. This topic is more important than ever given the recent release of the Halo 3 beta. As a result, some consumers that try to login to LIVE who we detect have illegally modified their console will get an error code (Status Code: Z: 8015 - 190D) when trying to connect to the service. These users will not have their account automatically banned from LIVE, but they will no longer be able to access the service from the console they modified.
We have stated in the past that customers can only enjoy access to the Xbox LIVE community through the use of a genuine, unmodified, Xbox console and we will continue to enforce this rule to ensure the integrity of our service, the protection of our partners and the benefits of our users.

now i must tell this...its seems im not banned like the most have after the update, i didnt do the update but got the Status Code: Z: 8015 - 190D ...
And ms says....
some consumers that try to login to LIVE who we detect have illegally modified their console will get an error code (Status Code: Z: 8015 - 190D) when trying to connect to the service. These users will not have their account automatically banned from LIVE, but they will no longer be able to access the service from the console they modified.
and thats just all i cant do right now, dont have that sceen of banned blabla...only some errors of my connection, thats all...
The only thing i can't do is go on LIVE...so maybi they find a patch or something out, that can provide us for going back on LIVE?
so there are ppl who's 360 is banned and ppl who only not can go online anymoreon the service from MS ? or am wrong?

You are banned.. It doesn't show you the "you have been banned blah blah blah" screen unless you tests your connection and then when it failes at xboxlive, go down to NAT and press "more info".

You need under 30 ping for system link emulation to work (which is what that program does), so good luck with that.
