Anyone have advice about good remote access software? I am gonna remote control my friends computer to setup some stuff and she doesnt know anything about computers so i need a program that is easy for her to install and start.
I have very little experience with remote control software since i have only used it once, that time it was VNC and it worked nice but i dont know what else is out there.
She has windows vista by the way and i have xp so the program has to work in vista aswell as in xp.
I will try with VNC unless you have some good alternative.
I think that UltraVNC with the encyption addon works great. Without it I feel that VNC is too unsecure. rAdmin is (or atleast was, haven't used for a long time) good. The built in xp remote-control is pretty sweet however I have no idea wether it works or not when connecting to/from Vista.
