yes portable means it can be moved round. they are on rollers and stand in a upright position.like a fridge which i beleve are suposed to be transported upright.
It's not advisable but if you do have to do it then try to keep it at an angle as opposed to totally horizontal. Avoid carrying in a position that the compressor is turned upside down. Once at your destination, allow it to stand for a couple of hours (so the oil in the compressor settles down) and then switch it on.
On this subject, I´d really like something like this for my appartment/room, Preferably something that doesnt need a pipe out the window or whatever. Anyone got examples? Would be very appreciated.
