Hey, has anyone seen Drive? Two episodes out, and it looks like good show, the main idea is kinda dull but it's offset by great acting...
Series being from Fox, I wonder how much time will it have until getting the ax in the face...

Drive is nice show, i hope it will last at least 1 season

I could be wrong but this seems like a stupid idea for a show, fox simply has no clue as to what a good series is.

I watched it and it looks like a scripted version of the amazing race 
each week they're gonna reach a checkpoint. who wins who loses and such.
Twists and turns.
I was dissapointed.
But nathan runs the show so it's cool. Lets see how long they can drag this show

Man, this show has some potential to be better than Prison Break... PB is so dull, and acting is horrendous, while this one has some very good acting. Lets hope stupid Fox keeps this alive for enough time for it to catch momentum.

The acting is horrendous? I guess you didn't watch what I did. William Fitchner/Wentworth Miller/Paul Adelstein/Rockmond Dunbar did a great job acting...
though I admit that Wentworth Miller was pretty annoying in season 2 using the same shitty plz feel sorry for me voice over and over.

The first episode , was boring no driving action only drama ,
the second made it into a "24" clone but with more drama with action ,
the third showed the series real face - its a criminal drama with some action , about a "Driver" that was the #1 in the business , that drove every one on time for every job , just like in the game "Driver" (nice similarity) .Then he sold his car and put his Driver life behind when he meet his future wife . And now some one kidnaps his wife and force him into the race , also giving his old car back to get him back into the business , Driver business .

I don´t like it, really.. Too much Lost-stuff going on (people who no-one meets, know nothing about and still can pretty much control peoples lives. sort of). Being a car enthusiast doesn´t exactly help either, way too unrealistic, but that was expected.
And the name SUCKS! VERY IMAGINATIVE!

Drive has been impounded.
Multiple sources confirm that Fox has axed the Tim Minear creation after less than three weeks on the air. I'll go out on a limb and say the show's crappy ratings were to blame. House encores will take over its Monday/8 pm time slot.
There is one piece of good news: I'm hearing the final two unaired Drive eps may get burned off on consecutive Fridays in May.
UPDATE: Fox now says the final two Drives will air this summer, specific date TBA. |
