So between Creative and Logitech, what's a good set to get. Dun wanna spend over 150 if it's possible. Im using the x-530 5.1 set right now and well, ya lol.

Have to go and listen, try and get a demo somewhere. No way should you make any audio/visual purchase on specs/reviews/recommendations alone

I have these Klipsch speakers:

They sound great.... wife has a fit though when I crank them up.
U have had them a few years... don't know what they cost at the present but they were around $500.00 US when I bought them. Sound good though.
Only really suck thing about them is they have no various inputs in them to plug other things besides the computer.

what a shitty sub, and 7.1 is useless anyway...

I would say buy a good receiver and build the system yourself - but of course since you're on a budget thats not possible. The logitech 5300e are really good speakers and I see kamikaze666 already recommended them.
