i just spend 30 mins editing all the names, now i have bundesliga instead of league 1 and champions league instead of euro championship etc, well worth it

Did I miss something? Why do you have to edit those things? I thought everythig was licensed, so original names. Did they lose some licenses or something?

its always been like this (leage 1, euro championship etc.) regardless of license or not...not sure why though but it takes just a few minutes to edit the league names

Still works up to March 2007 for me.
No crashes, and the game runs surprisingly smooth.

You know you can download .inc files which will change all that for you automatically  |

Yes because of licensing issues they can't put player pictures or club pictures without permission so you have to manually download the missing packs (which is a lot really). Goto the website listed above to start you off.

wtf is there only : small , medium , and large in Database Size option , when starting a new game ? where did the huge option go ?
anyone else noticed this ?

Delete C:\WINDOWS\system32\dpnlobby.dll, this file is not nessesary! I've read it in another forum!

What the hell does a dll file have to do with fake names in Football Manager? God...
You just have to delete everything in this folder: C:\Program Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2007\data\db\700\lnc\all
...and voila, no more fake names for Japanese or French teams, or even Oliver Kahn and so on.
After you delete all files, you can do what Donkey Kong said to get all the correct competition names.

To fix the player names, you need to delete
"C:\Program Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2007\data\db\700\lnc\all\fake.lnc"
