@Deelix
Cats do act different then dogs. They are more independent which I think could be viewed as not as loving. I think too cats act different when they are in families. Esp if they grow up around small children. Small children are a constant threat to a cat. Plus too many people in a cats life spreads the bond out.

I bet the cats raised by responsible single people or couples have a stronger bond/affection for their owners, compared to a cat raised by family with 2 or 3 kids.

But really tho, I don’t think you are an animal person and there is nothing wrong with that. You don’t care for dogs either.

This describes my kitty perfectly Wink

Quote:
Siamese are affectionate and intelligent cats, renowned for their social nature. They enjoy being with people and are sometimes described as "extroverts." They are extremely vocal, with a loud, low-pitched voice that has been compared to the cries of a human baby, and persistent in demanding attention. They usually get on well with other cats, but they also have a great need for human companionship. Often they bond strongly to a single person. These cats are typically active and playful, even as adults.[2][3]

My other cat who isn't a siamese is still quite affectionate, but she doesn't demand as much attention as the other one Wink

heh, one of my cats has to have that bond aswell. He always comes with a gift into our bedrooms and "talks". Also when we are going outside to work he stays on our tail and watch us work.

Though the other one are just sleeping all the time and eating Razz and really dont care about us ^^
