His business has suffered - down to only a few local customers. The folks in Meade who've boycotted say it's too offensive for them to eat there.

Local resident, Keith Klassen says the flag is a slap in the face to the conservative community of Meade. “To me it's just like running up a Nazi flag in a Jewish neighborhood. I can't walk into that establishment with that flag flying because to me that's saying that I support what the flag stands for and I don't," says Klassen.

But despite the local ridicule and loss of business, Knight is determined to stand his ground. “When this rainbow flag shreds, I will buy another one, and another one, and another one - just like my American flag, I'll buy another one."

Knight says his son gave him the flag after a trip to Dorothy's house, a museum about the Wizard of Oz. The flag reminded the boy of "somewhere over the rainbow."

Note the comment from that guy in bold. Is it just me, or is that the most stupid fucking comment you have ever heard? When did homosexuals kill 6 million straight people? It really sucks to have to live in a country full of bible thumping idiots who claim to be Christians, but in reality stand against the teachings of Christianity with actions like these.

That's the problem with paranoid conservative and/or religious morons being offended by every little sign of individualism on this crappy planet. If it goes on like that we'll have a war once because someone farts on live TV Rolling Eyes

But maybe its only distraction by the media, while the plebs is raging about the Nipplegate "scandal" and alike, rich childfucking entrepreneurs get richer by destroying the rainforest, raising oil prices and slowly killing our planet. In the meantime our performance-oriented society is going down the drain but nobody cares since they are busy sueing people, coping with inhumanly demanding jobs/requirements and being offended by various things...

Nope, didn’t know.

We have a gay pride march here too but I have never gone to it. I have only seen clips on the news. I can’t recall seeing any rainbow flags here anywhere. I am going to ask around. No one has ever talked about the rainbow flag here either.
......

Ok I just called 3 other people. Nobody has ever heard of this gay flag. I need to find a gay person. I am going to ask around over this.

what`s wrong about gay people?

Ok.... I can`t watch gays kissing, etc. ... makes me shiver.

But I know some gay/lesbian people and they are all very nice - so whats wrong with all you homophobic guys?

What`s that shit about calling people fags? That`s just wrong...

Thats what im saying.

We should have a 'Heterosexual Pride Parade' and a flag. If the queers can march around in g-strings and fondle one another, we hetero's should be allowed to aswell.

I have no problem being in the company of near naked women Smile

I have seen that flag, but I didn’t know what it meant. I thought it maybe a multicultural thing. Usually multicultural is represented by a rainbow here. But since it is on Davie, OK I get it now.

My friends and I don't really get into get into all that stuff. (flag stuff)

I like the apple computer corp logo FLAG......................haha kidding
