Only for men. For the woman (because of the prosess) its considerd as torture, and not legal. So lots of people go to their own country to do it. Lots talk about that now. But we can't stop them from doing that. But not here. I don't really understand the meaning of circumcision :\ |

Well, maybe the russians. We don't like that they steal our oil up in the north, but we don't make a big deal out of it.

Only time will dissolve these cultural signs away, not by some law.
People have been trying to make people change their culture by force for decades, and it always failed. France should do the exact opposite if it want to keep it's french identity, let everyone be who ever he wishes to be.

I agree to some extent. But if you move to a foreign country with a different culture than yours, you should adapt to it. Cultural integration is good. If you choose to form your own communities within it and try separate yourself from it even though you live in the country, you end up with a seggregation culture, which is the mess what France is today.
I can't stand people which move to another country and deny to learn the language and customs.
