No I am not picking up some random guy. I won't even be talking to some random guy LOL

I could NEVER steal Mr Fat Cat away from Dazz. Poor Dazz would be all alone.

This is where I went.
http://www.rime.ca/album.html

Only at night inside is very dark. They use only a few red lights and candles. It is a Turkish night bistro. Turkish food. You sit on couches as big as beds surrounded by oversized multicolored pillows and use a low coffee table and watch whatever band play. It has a cover of anywhere from $7-12 to get in. I drank wine, laid on pillows, we all shared some Tapa's. I didn't bother with dinner tho but everyone else did. I tried some of their lamb, some chicken. You eat very slow because you hang out and watch the band so you are there for 4 hrs. When the next gig starts you have to pay another cover charge. Usually it is really busy but tonight it was pretty good. Place has a good ambience, lots of artwork, and Pazyryk burial ceramony stuff, burial symbols and stuff like that.

I think the band was on Acid. The singer was swaying all over the place to rhythms that existed only in her mind. In between songs she was rambling on about how her "friend has this name" weird stuff.

By the sounds of it a lot of you guys on here are punks or rockers. I would say I am more of a Bohemian kinda girl.

Wow, sounds like a nice place. I don't think there's any place similar to that where I live. I'd love that way more than the usual clubbing me and my friends do.

I'm the kind of person who prefers partying with friends rather than going to a club, altough I like clubbing too, it's not as fun. Are you like that aswell?

I am exactly like that. For me it’s all about the ambience. I want to be able to talk to people if I go out and you just can’t do that at a club. I have done the whole club scene and I am sick of it. All a bunch of look at me posers I think. I prefer a place with a tiny bit of culture but relaxed.

http://www.thedrive.ca/

There are a whole whack of unique places like that on Commercial drive. All have live music, some are good and some are not. Lots of cool little shops on the sidewalks. It is a real unique community. They have this cool parade at Halloween Called “Parade of the Lost Souls” where these symbolic brides dance under torches to honour the dead and for good luck. There are fireworks to wake the living. It’s really trippy time. There is also a Festival of light which is really cool and beautiful. They do this fire sculpting stuff and torch dances. Artists make these huge lanterns. I hope to make it to that one this summer. There is a art festival too where east side artists get to show off there stuff.

There is a nice park there too with christmas lights on year round Safe to sit in a night. It is such a relaxed place you can smoke a joint in the park, or right on the sidewalk. It is pretty much normal. If the police walk by they totally ignore you, or say Hi, or nod.

You don’t have anything like that where you are? Are you in a small town?

Anybody else?

That song is really played in the clubs? I thought it was a joke song. What other songs do they play?
